New Zealand Car Wellington The cable car is a great form of transport in Wellington. The cable car is one of the oldest attractions of Wellington and most popular, the journey starts under the motorway, then through the three tunnels, Kelburn Park, Victoria University, the Botanic Garden. The cable car was built by Upland Real Estate Company in 1902.
